Hello all again.
I would really appreciate it if people would become a member to this site, along with following me on twitter, @EricAYanasak. This is the first post for the east coast trip. This time I am going to try to work on the posts a little more. I never took time to proof read them last year and some were poor quality to say the least. My good friend Rob came along this time. He is big into photo, and video. I will post some of his photos, and a link to his websites with each post, please check them out. I was working even after New Year’s, that plus packer tickets for Christmas is the reason for the last start this year. I also typed everything up from last year’s trip and am hoping to try to turn it into a travel book some day. Of course I put that off until the last minute.
We left Saturday the 14th at about 8:30 am, and drove to Detroit, MI. the first stop was the North American International Auto Show. On the way to that we drove through the downtown area. Lots of strip clubs, and graffiti. The graffiti was actually pretty cool and some I would consider art. We spend a few hours at the auto show. The whole production of the thing seems incredible; I could only imagine the set up and tear down. On the way out there were some Jesus freaks screaming in the street. After that we went to a bar called centaur. We also got caught in traffic for the young jeezy concert. They were showing the New England, Dallas game. They had a DJ there setting up for the night. We talked to him and he said to us “you might not want to say around here for the night, it gets a little dark.” He told us about an old bar that closed down in the 30’s and reopened in the 50’s. Everything was preserved and it was right down the street. They had a $10 cover and it really didn’t look that interesting, so we left. Then we had a very fascinating conversation with a homeless man. Then we found a place to sleep for the night and parked the car there. We walked around looking for bars to go to for the night. The first one we found searched us on the way in and there was a $10 cover. The second searched us again and they had a $20 cover. We decided to go back to the car and start the drive to buffalo, NY.

We finally crashed for the night outside of Cleveland. My power inverter wasn’t working so we picked up another one, that one was broken. But I realized my wiring was bad, my inverter would work if I hooked it up to the battery. So I will have to replace the wiring later. When we got to buffalo it was 3:30, and the packer game started at 4:30. We went to a place rob knew about, anchor bar. It’s the home of the chicken wing. The game was a complete disaster, for some reason the packers forgot how to catch a football, and tackle. They lost. After the game we drove around for awhile looking around. We want to get to main and start heading south, but I really want to see Niagara Falls. So we drove near there and will see it in the morning.
