seattle

the last few days ive just been hanging out at brians house. the night after meting the extended family i met some of brians friends at a different apartment then went out to the ballroom bar with cousin jeremy. he was watching the washignton state game with a few friends. washington state won so everyone was in a good mod having fun. we went to another bar where jeremys friend from work was having a birthday party. there were alot of people there and they all thought my whole trip was really interesting, and that i just met jeremy. i had a great time that night. the nest day was new years eve. brians house was planing to have a party so we all cleaned up the house and, of course, set up beer pong. i met some more of brians friends, then me and brians roommate jeremy went out to a another party he know about. there were alot of college kids there having a great time. later on that night we left and went to Jeremys brothers frat house. everyone there was already done for the night so we went back to brians house. everyone there was just about done for the night but still up. everyone took the next day off to recover. i felt fine so i just kinda cleaned up and wondered around the house. i was trying to get brian to hit the bars that night but that wasn't happening.  on the 2nd me and brian went in to the city and saw a few sights. we went to an underground tour of old Seattle. but we had a little time before the tour started so we went to a bar where they were showing the packer game. i caught most of the 4th quarter and it looked like a good game. lots of people were out for the sea hawks game, which they also won for the wild card spot. so the people we all excited and happy. then we went on the tour. it was interesting to hear about the history of Seattle and see how the city was built. through all this i have been emails some other Yanasaks in the area. Curtis Yanasak is a snowboard instructor at crystal mountain. which is a little ways south of Seattle. so i will be meting up with him Tuesday night to hang out at the bar he lives above, and go boarding the next day.

 a bottle of captain morgan silver i bought in Costa Rica, ive always been saving it for something special. i cracked it open new years eve with brian.

 under the side walks in part of Seattle is a whole city. now what everyone thinks is the first floor of every building is really the second. the city had a flooding problem so they built walls around the edge of all the side walks, by the street. and spand over to the first floor of each building with i beams. then the build brick arch ways to support the side walk above it. in the pic you can see at the top skylights they put in the sidewalk to light the underworld.
